Green-House is the project of Los Angeles based Environmental and Ambient artist Olive Ardizoni. Her characteristic is natural, peaceful and wonderful mood, but using electric and electronic instruments and technologies.
Six Songs for Invisible Gardens (Plancha, 2020)
“Six Songs for Invisible Gardens” is the debut EP of American environmental and ambient music artist Green-House.
“Peperomia Seedling” is simple and beautiful song with vibraphone improvisational melodies and electric piano backing and samples of water splash.
“Sansevieria” is wonderful Electronica which is consist of vibraphone and electric piano arpeggios, organ long tones and sample of birds sing.
“Parlor Palm” begins with keen birds sing. Organ and synthesizer pad follow. Then beautiful fine synthesizer sequences ride on.
“Perennial Bloom” begins with a grandiose bold synthesizer lead solo with bird singing samples and high tone synth sequences, then they fade out. Mid-tone synthesizer sequence follows and closes the song.
“Soft Meadow” is slow Electronica, begins delay modulated sythesizer riffs and electric piano arpeggio backing. Vibraphone arpeggio and water murmur sample follow.
“Xylem” is a electric piano solo song with electronic noise, noisy synthesizer sequences. Later part vibraphone plays ensemble with electric piano.
A very beautiful, elegant, wonderful, calm, peaceful and natural Electronica and Ambient album has nostalgic New Age also today’s Drone and Chillhop taste.
Music for Living Spaces (Leaving Records, 2021)
Music for Living Spaces is the first LP or album of Green-House was released by Leaving Records.
“Top Soil” is a slow very beautiful and charming song is consist of electric piano, vibraphone, organ, synthesizer pad and sample of water murmurs. Each instrument plays melodies and accompaniment, and they cross.
“Nocturnal Bloom” is a nostalgic and Folk taste song. Electric piano plays backing and melodies, organ plays arpeggios and synthesizer flute plays lead.
“Sunflower Dance” is a wonderful, beautiful and warm composition. Electric piano plays backing arpeggios. Organ, synthesizer pad and flute plays melodies. Vibraphone play ornamental phrases.
“Bird of Paradise” is a wonderful and mysterious New Age, World Music or Afro taste song. Glockenspiel or marimba plays backing sequence. Electric piano and synthesizer pad play mysterious and impressive melodies.
“Soft Coral” is very slow nostalgic and traditional mood Ambient song like Aphex Twin and Brian Eno. Electric piano plays bass part and melodies. Vibraphone plays ornamental phrases. (Electric) noise(s) like wave and organ lead follow.
“Royal Fern” is a New Age taste nostalgic and elegant song. It begins with synthesizer sequence like a pluck instrument arpeggios and synthesizer lead like fuel play melodies. Synthesizer strings play chord accompaniment.
“Rain” is melancholic and a little bit Debussy and Asian taste song. It begins with pentatonic scale arpeggio by electric piano and samples of rain falls. Vibraphone and chorus sytnesizer follow. Vibraphone plays ornamental phrases. Chorus synthesizer plays chords.
“Find Home” is minor key, British traditional taste vocal song with electric piano, vibraphone and synthesizer pad arpeggio accompaniments.
“Middlenist” is slow Ambient song features improvisational plays of one or two electric piano(s).
The very beautiful, cute, cheerful, precious, natural excellent Ambient and Electronica album, and the greatest work of Green-House at present.
